We happened upon The OC Coastal
Group quite by accident as my wife and I were visiting
Laguna Beach one weekend and were so taken by the overall
charm that we decided to look into real estate. We Googled
Laguna Beach Real Estate and The OC Coastal Group's website
happened to come up... the first clue that our karmas were
intended to intersect. With no advance notice and on a
Sunday, to boot,
Garry Loss took our call and immediately
arranged for us to see four different properties. No
doubt he gets a lot of "looky-loos" and probably thought we
were more of the same. He may have been surprised when we
decided to place an offer on the
last property we saw which, over the following days he helped negotiate with wisdom and insight despite an adversarial
realtor on the other side. He further protected our
interests by organizing a very thorough home inspector whose
prompt inspection yielded problems with the foundation. We
then had to count on
Garry to gracefully back us out of the
escrow, in the process retrieving our good faith deposit intact. Again, given
Garry's less than cooperative
counterpart, this was no easy feat.
By this time we had gotten to know
Garry and
his team fairly
well and went out of our way to reassure him that we were
fully committed to buying a property in
Laguna. Having
gotten to know us as well,
Garry refined his showings to a
few select properties that he thought would meet our
criteria. Sure enough, one of them did. Once again using his
cool perceptive and shrewd negotiating strategy,
Garry
closed the deal for us and we are absolutely thrilled as we
felt that we have tapped into an under-valued asset thanks
to Garry¹s
knowledge of the market place and the
respect incurred from the seller¹s realtor.
Garry¹s services don¹t simply start with showings and end
when the contract is signed. Once again he lined up a home
inspection, turned us onto a whole construction crew and a
handyman, sourced for us the various utility
companies that we needed to connect with and in general just
continues to give and give and give of his time and
knowledge.

When my wife and I decided to relocate our family closer to
my work, I began to search the internet for prospective
locations and properties in Orange County. I chanced
upon
The OC Coastal Group's
website and found it extremely helpful and informative. I
